From my preteen through teenage years, I independently cared for and helped raise my baby sister while my mom worked long hours to support our family. I looked after her for approximately five to eight hours at a time, four to seven days per week. During that time, I:
-Bottle-fed her and introduced her to solid foods
-Changed her diapers, bathed her, and maintained cleanliness
-Entertained her with play and engaging activities
-Put her down for naps and bedtime
