I have done internships in the infant and toddler rooms when my mom worked at a daycare for about a year. I currently have a 1 year old and have worked at the children’s ministry at my church, I have taken care of my husbands younger siblings and am very outgoing with children learning their personalities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love storytelling to children, making expressions and doing voices with them. So going and dancing together. I like meal prepping with the children so they learn how to eat and make nutritional meals. I’m interested in doing English and math or any educational activities you want your child to learn. Open to walking to the park or playing any sports they might like. Let me know in what ways you want playtime introduced.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is keeping a positive attitude while I engage with a child letting them know their feelings are heard and being welcoming to their ideas. It is also very important to me that I have a connection with the parents and make sure that I’m keeping them informed at all times.
