A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Raine, I will be attending UW Tacoma in the fall as a nursing major, & I’m looking for a job that helps me connect with parents & their children to create bonds to benefit future endeavors, as well as build my experience with working with children! I started working with kids when I was really young (if you count siblings!) I have 5 younger siblings, my first brother being born when I was 6! I was told my whole life that I was great with kids, so 8th-10th grade I did a lot of babysitting, then through 11th & 12th grade I nannied & tutored a pair of 9 year old twin boys! Recently I've been nannying up in Seattle off and on, so kids have just been a huge part of my life for a long long time! I like working with kids because I enjoy being able to help parents in need as well as make an impact on young minds, but overall I have just always been very good with kids & I genuinely really love being around them! I am very excited to start my journey with a new family!

Reading is probably the biggest one for me! I think it’s great to read to kids to stimulate their minds & educational growth, and also is just a great pass time! Spending time outdoors is also a huge one, especially during the summer! Arts and crafts are another, of all sorts! Overall just anything that helps getting their brains turning while also having fun!!
