I have 10 years as a private nanny. I was also a pre-k/Head start teacher for a few years. Also I worked as and infant and two teacher in a Montessori daycare!

I love planning activities that are both fun and developmentally appropriate. Some of my favorites include reading, sensory play, arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor walks, baking, pretend play, and age-appropriate learning activities. I enjoy following a child’s interests while creating opportunities for them to build confidence, creativity, and independence.

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a baby I cared for accomplish something they had been working so hard on. Seeing the excitement on their face when they reached that milestone—and being able to share that joy with their parents—was incredibly rewarding. Moments like that remind me why I love being a nanny. I enjoy helping children learn, grow, and build confidence while creating a safe, loving environment where they can thrive.
