Hi! My name is Rayana. I have recently graduated Cleveland State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Teaching children is more than just pencil to paper. It is the process of assisting children in the creation of creativity, positivity and passion within what they learn. There is learning in everything we do both in and out of the classroom. It is in the way we communicate, it is in the way we share, it is in the way we think and problems solve... the list is endless.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I began my teaching journey in 2016, working as a lead teacher at Gymboree Play and Music. Within this role I was responsible for creating and implementing parent child lesson plans centered around play and music.
Also, I worked at Primrose School of Avon. My position in the school was teacher assistant. I primarily worked in the infant room, caring for up to 4 babies at a time alone. But I also floated into different rooms of children of varying ages (infant to pre kindergarten).
Also during my time at Cleveland State University I was able to shadow and assist in several different age group classrooms (kindergarten through third grade).
