A little bit about me

Hi! My name's Rayn and I'm currently an incoming, full-time college student looking for some part-time nanny work. I have a lot of experience with kids, I enjoy the outdoors so I am entirely willing to take kids to the park and go out on bike rides as well as play sports. But because I am in school (and since I have a presently pregnant sister that I am living with), I won't be able to work on Mondays and Wednesdays, (as far as I know of right now) and since my sister is due in October my availability may change depending on that and my school schedule. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've done a lot of volunteer work involving children; my sister was also a Teacher's Aid and I helped her out at work a lot after school. I also have a 7 year-old nephew that I live with, so I feel that also translates as experience with kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities that I like doing with kids are enjoying the great outdoors; taking them to parks; and doing arts and crafts. I'm also more than willing to get down on their level and just play with them: whether it's pretending to be princesses and playing tea party or Barbies, or playing with Legos and GI Joes, I'm there for it all!

The most important part about being a nanny...

is liking the job you do. If you're passionate about being kind and empathetic as well as look forward to spending time and working with kids, that's going to translate into your work with them. :)
