A little bit about me

Looking for any families in the St. George area who may need an after school nanny. I could pick up your children at 3 and stay until 6-6:30 when you get off work and pick up children earlier on Fridays. I have 3+ years experience I’m CPR certified, infant CPR certified, first aid certified and have my food handlers license. I’m looking for some extra money while getting my education degree and am more than willing to help with homework, run errands, or start dinner while taking care of your kiddos! Looking for $16-18 but can be flexible.

"Reagan is so much fun! My kids STILL talk about her!! Reagan played hide-n-seek, tag and jumped on the trampoline with my kids. A couple of times she even did magic tricks or made balloon animals for my kids. She would read my kids books and put them to bed at night. I loved knowing that my kids were playing and having fun verses just watching more TV. She also has a lot of experience changing diapers and taking care of babies too. I trust Reagan and her family so much. I always felt like my kids were SUPER safe. Reagan's whole family are good Christian people. They love serving others! Her whole family even puts on a free little one week summer camp for kids every summer."

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve interned with 1st and 7th graders these past couple school year and adored it. I also spent the summer interning as a youth worker in Scotland. Not to mention I have multiple certifications in ECE and Teaching as a Profession! I’ve also been a tutor for the past few years in subjects like language arts, math and ASL. Currently also working as a part time nanny for one other family once a week.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play games and work on children’s imagination skills. We are told when we get older we should lose them however I think if we all could come up with solutions in our own way the world would be a much more productive and inclusive place.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about caring for any child is safety. Making sure they know with you they aren’t only safe from physical harm but also that they can tell you anything without fear.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked as a “buddy” with special needs students but that can’t compare to all the times I’ve watched and cared for my almost 5 year old niece who has cerebral palsy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was with a child I nannied for a few summers back. She was 5 years old and we were working on her reading comprehension skills when we got to the word cold. She looked at me and simply said “Like you always are!” Then she went straight back to reading with no hesitation.
