A little bit about me

Hello! I am a highly experienced child care professional with 10+ years of experience. This includes working as a household nanny/manager, and a daycare teacher. I have a bachelor's degree and extensive coursework in child development and early childhood education.

With years of experience with all age groups, I am comfortable working with multiple children, infants, and children with disabilities. I have specialized experience with children who have experienced trauma.

I am committed to following the established rhythms of the household. Children thrive through play, and I have had great success providing engaging experiences that decreases children's interest in screens. I am comfortable taking children on excursions, especially to parks and libraries!

Let's start talking! I'd love to support your amazing family.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Nanny for 1-5 children with various families, preschool teacher, after school program worker, camp counselor for 7 summers, volunteer at medical summer camp.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Exploring the outdoors, visiting local parks museums and libraries, science experiments, sensory experiences and any kind of open ended play!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me the most important thing is supporting a family so they can thrive. When a nanny is a great match for the family she isn't just providing safe, wonderful experiences for the children, she is creating opportunities for the parents to shine at work, with loved ones, and even have the chance for some self care. You deserve support!

My experience with special needs children...

I love working with children with disabilities and special needs. I am comfortable dispensing medication and managing equipment. In the past I've worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, PTSD, ODD, epilepsy, OCD, ARFID, and more. I have extensive training and experience working with children who have experienced trauma.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Who can pick? I'd have to say my favorite day recently was taking a 1 and 3 year old to Red Butte Garden during the Wizard of Oz theme this fall. We are garden regulars, but this was the first time the 1yo felt comfortable walking around and he had a whole new perspective on a favorite place and was delighted! The 3yo was delighted by all the decorations, and told himself stories based on what he saw. Both boys were so happy! It was an amazing reminder that as children grow even familiar excursions can bring brand new experiences.

Gabee S. - Seeking Work in Salt Lake City

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Salt Lake City, UT: Gabee S.

Hi! I’m Gabrielle, and I’m looking for a part-time nanny or babysitting position with a great family. I’m responsible, dependable, organized, and naturally very caring. I’ve spent most of my professional life working in hospitality and event management, so I’m extremely comfortable multitasking, staying calm when things get hectic, keeping a schedule, and making sure the people around me are taken care of.

I’m upbeat and playful, but I also appreciate structure and routines. I’m happy to help with things like meals and snacks, homework, activities, tidying up after the kids, walks or outings, and keeping their day running smoothly. I’m also very comfortable with pets!

I’m primarily looking for part-time work and would love to find a family where I can become someone both the parents and kids genuinely feel comfortable with and can rely on.

Elsa G. - Seeking Work in Salt Lake City

Babysitter Available in Salt Lake City, UT: Elsa G.

I am a responsible, energetic college student at Westminster University majoring in Elementary Education with a focus in Early Childhood Development. As the oldest of four kids, I have been around and caring for younger children my whole life and have been babysitting independently since I was 12.

I have extensive experience working with kids of all ages, including coaching youth sports and volleyball, running youth camps for the past three years, and organizing my own kids’ craft camps. I love keeping kids active, engaged, and having fun—whether that’s playing outside, doing crafts, helping with homework, or winding down for bedtime.

I am CPR certified, dependable, patient, and comfortable caring for multiple children at once. My education and experience with children make babysitting a natural fit for me while I continue my college studies.
