Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some of my favorite activities to do with children include music and movement, imaginative play, arts and crafts, sensory activities, storytelling, outdoor walks, and beginner learning games that encourage confidence and curiosity.
I especially love introducing children to music in playful and age-appropriate ways. For example, I like creating little “instrument friends” such as Kevin the Ukulele, who loves gentle hands and careful listening, to help children learn respect for instruments while making music feel exciting and approachable instead of intimidating.
Storytime whenever possible is something I find valuable to foster a love of reading young and introduce young minds to as many words every day as possible.
