Hi, my name is Becky. I am 50 years old and have always loved children. I have cared for my own 3 sons, and have also been a nanny for others. The needs of my current nanny family have changed recently and so I am now looking for a new family to love. I believe the most important needs of a child are love/affection, kindness, patience, stability, feeling safe, one-on one interaction with the child, and security. I have a background check and I am CPR certified as well as First Aid. I can usually see the needs of a child and can connect with them quickly and easily. I am very patient and have a lot of love to give. I like to have a “G” rated environment when I am with children, because I am “G” rated as well in my own personal life. I like to teach children to love, be honest, kind, and respectful to everyone. I am used to multitasking a family of four children, including housekeeping. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am currently a nanny for a family of six. Monday through Friday I care for a 1yr, 3yr, 5yr, and an 8yr. I also do house cleaning as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Depending on the child’s age, I love to play dolls and dress up with little girls. Little boys are different. They love to play cars and crash things and get in the dirt and get muddy lol. Children like to pretend and make up stories or make forts in the house with blankets. Coloring is fun, playing outside. I guess the list goes on and on.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Definitely the most important part of being a nanny to me is meeting the needs of the children as I would meet them with my own children. Sometimes children need to be loved on more than others. Every child is different and sometimes you just need to sit back and look and see what’s going on with a child or a situation and fill the need that the child needs at that time. I usually can figure out pretty quickly whether a child needs just to be held and loved, or maybe have alone time. I pay close attention to each individual child.

I do not have any experience working with a special needs child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Right now, the most wonderful moment that’s recent in my mind was last week when the kids that I currently nanny for were playing in the bathtub and the 1yr old boys’ sister started filling her mouth full of bathwater and spitting the water onto her brother’s face and neck. Of course he burst out in the loudest, sweetest adorable deep belly giggling laughter that went on and on and on. I recorded it on my phone and have watched it every single day because it makes me laugh and smile.
