Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I get paid mileage to also drive my Adult Spectrum children to Self Determination Classes and activities. Assist with Legos with a adult 23 year old Autistic person and make sure his chore responsibilities are done daily. I shower and shave him. He makes his bed gets his clothes out and dresses himself. I also have a 12-year-old Fetal Alcohol Syndrome boy one day a week and drive him to Lake Hemet for fishing lessons.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Respectful, caring, empathetic, follow the parents directives for their children's well-being. Safety is paramount. Complete transparency and honest communication between the parents and Nanny. I work in a one-family household with extreme cameras in operations for the good of all concerned.

My experience with special needs children...

I am in charge of a Autistic adult child, Alcohol Fetal Syndrome 12 year of old, and one Bi-Polar all medicated persons.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Joy in accomplishing my goals helping the children be self-reliant. Teaching them and talking them out of there resistance and I can't do it refusal positions and turning it around or not at times being patient and waiting for a shift. Caring for the goodness of outcomes for a new day! Every day is a new beginning.
