A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Rebecca! But all the babies at the daycare I used to work at called me Bea, Bicca, or Gabeca, So you can call me whatever you can pronounce! I miss my old daycare, but I wanted to move to Polk county because it's where I'm originally from. I am CPR certified and I have experience in a daycare setting. I have my own car so if you need me to run errands or pick the kids up from school, I have it covered. I can cook meals, as well as supply educational and creative ways of learning. I work with all ages!

*Hours are from 8:30am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. I will work weekends and extended, but charges will be extra. Base rate of pay is 10. 00 an hour.

*Each case is different, so if you want me to watch your child, message me and we can work something out!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My job title at my previous daycare was a teacher for the toddler room(1-2 y.o.), but I also cares for infants and older (3-5 y.o.) when I needed to.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Painting, any crafts, looking at nature in the yard, reading books, doing hands on activities like pointing out colors and shapes.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny, is the kids. They are constantly growing and looking for new experiences, and since I'm an artist, I can give educational and fun learning styles to any kids, all ages.

My experience with special needs children...

We have had a few special needs kids in my previous job, and so we would have to care for them as well as the others, and when a fit would occur, I had proper information on how to calm them and make them feel safe.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When parent told me that their child was at home on a play phone saying " *Gibberish** Becca... hahaha!!" (She was pretending to talk to me through the phone at home)
