I am a stay at home mother of 3 (6, 4, and 9months) and I have also been a nanny for a child from the time she was born until she was 3 years old when her family needed to move out of state. As well as baby sitting for friends and family since I was a teenager.

I have not worked with children with special needs except a child I was a nanny for for 3 years had vision impairments that required patching one eye and required extra supervision while she was outside or being active in other activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The child I was a nanny for would never take naps for her parents or anyone else and if she did it would be 15 minutes at the most. Every time she was in my care she happily took very long naps 1-2 hours. Her parents were constantly asking me for my tips and tricks and I honestly didn’t have any and it was always baffling to them and made me laugh. We decided It was magic.
