A little bit about me

I’ve been nannying and teaching in daycares off and on for the past 6 years. It’s very rewarding, and I’m happy to be going back to it after a couple years in retail. I’m currently going back to school for an associates in science at SKYCTC and hoping to transfer afterwards. I am working mostly online but do take 1-2 classes in person each semester. I am more than happy to schedule those in person classes around your family’s schedule. My current in person class is from 8-9:15 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Come January, we can figure out a schedule together that works best for your family!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked as a daycare teacher and a full time nanny for children from newborn to 12! I have also worked with children with special needs and am comfortable taking on those extra responsibilities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love helping with homework, doing arts and crafts, reading (and teaching to read), as well as playing whatever games (imaginary or otherwise) strike their fancy! Imaginative play is incredibly important for early childhood development, and I’m more than happy to encourage it.

The most important part of being a nanny for me is forging strong bonds with the children and their families and knowing I’ve made a difference in their lives.

I nannied for a preemie baby a few years ago that was the sweetest little girl. It was incredibly rewarding to become one of the very few people she was comfortable with and trusted. I’ll never forget it.
