I have been a preschool teacher for about 12 years plus was a yard duty at an elementary school for a year and I would babysit on occasion and all the weekends my neighbors kids and I enjoyed every minute of it!!!

What matters most are if the kids are safe happy and loved are the three most important part of being a nanny and taking care of our kids in general I truly believe once I become a part of someone’s family I really do take care and put those kids underneath my wing and truly treat them like they are mine I would do anything for those kids for they’re well-being and most importantly they could lean on me if there’s any problems or issuing on in their personal life or families
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have a lot of experience with special needs, but there’s been a few where in my preschool years I have tried to take the best care I can with and for them what they need during that time
The most important part about being a nanny...
I remember when I was with my one year-old and she was still adjusting to me being there and still trying to get me used to their routine of nap and stuff and she wouldn’t go down for me right away the first few days but one day when I was putting her down for a nap for the first time by myself it did take a while for her to get comfortable, I think it was the second week she finally got comfortable enough falling asleep on me and not needing any comfort item. Also, she and I worked on weeding herself off the pacifier and by the time I was not working for this family anymore, she was off the pacifier completely such a huge accomplishment in both mine and the parents eyes
