More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Previously, I've had the joy of babysitting both a toddler and a teenager, forming a lasting bond with the family until my college years. My role went beyond just childcare; I was involved in cooking, cleaning, and enriching their daily lives. Moreover, my experience in child lesson planning during high school, which included crafting a book, designing activities to enhance both gross and fine motor skills, and leading art projects, propelled me to a state competition where I proudly earned a silver medal in my division!
In addition to my childcare experience, my academic journey in orthopedics allowed me to work closely with children, assisting in occupational and physical therapy sessions. This experience has given me a profound understanding of the diverse needs of children in various stages of development and rehabilitation.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I'm an avid sports enthusiast, having proudly led my cheer, track, and dive teams as captain. My athletic background isn't just limited to these sports; I also have a foundation in gymnastics from before my high school years. Beyond the thrill of sports, I'm passionate about creative pursuits like sewing, jewelry making, painting, and building. And for a mix of strategy and fun, I love engaging in games like chess, checkers, and Sudoku with kids, which are fantastic for developing critical thinking skills.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being adaptable, a good listener, and creating a safe environment are crucial qualities for a nanny. It's important to be flexible and adjust to the needs of each child, actively listen to their thoughts and feelings, and prioritize their safety at all times. And of course, patience is key when working with children. It allows you to understand their unique personalities and support their growth and development.
My experience with special needs children...
From an early age, I've had a meaningful connection with individuals with special needs. My grandmother ran a large group home, which sparked my passion for supporting and uplifting those with unique abilities. In high school, I joined a club that organized activities and made and sold popcorn with students with special needs. The proceeds from our popcorn sales were thoughtfully channeled into funding additional field trips for the students, enriching their educational experiences outside the classroom. It was a heartwarming way to witness the joy and growth these adventures brought to their lives. In college, I engaged in community-based learning, assisting individuals with daily living tasks to foster their independence and enable them to participate in a wider range of activities on their own. It's been a rewarding journey of empathy and empowerment!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Time seems to fly by, but being able to observe their social, cultural, and educational development throughout different phases is incredibly rewarding. It's like watching a beautiful journey unfold, filled with growth, learning, and endless possibilities.

Hi, my name is Zaniaya. I'm 19 years old and a freshman in college. I've been around kids all my life. Ive been volunteering at day cares since I was 13. Im going to college to become an ultrasound tech. I've always loved working with children and interacting with them. Children really are a way of peace to me, perhaps because I'm the oldest; I've always found comfort in my little sister, and the way they're always looking for something to learn. Being the oldest was always fun to me I like caring for my younger sisters and always loved to help my mom out. Children are a blessing in life, in my opinion, and I pray one day I will become a mom. I would be blessed to care for your child or children. I also drive and I have a car and a license. I love activities and sports. I also love to cook and clean so making meals won't bother me. I have a mother with OCD so cleaning has always been something I liked to do. I have a puppy and a pet bunny so animals and pets don't bother me.

Hi!
I'm Mo :) I am a career nanny that has worked for many families. I have experience in a daycare setting but prefer nannying as I enjoy building one on one relationships with a child and their family.
While getting my bachelor's degree, I took classes on child psychology, child development, human life through the ages, and more. I have also completed the Red Cross advanced childcare training.
