I am creative and equally athletic as I played sports and did dance growing up. I love doing fun activities that your child will also enjoy. Indoor movie day? I'm all for it. A day at the park? Count me in as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about babysitting or being a nanny is definitely being as flexible as possible. Every kid and family has different needs and a dynamic that they're accustomed to. It's my job to become apart of their routine and make it as easy as possible for the kids and family.

I volunteered for many years to help teach/aid special needs kids during summer school.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite moments are when the kids are able to be themselves around me and feel ultimately comfortable. I remember I used to babysit in the evenings for a family of 3 kids, all under the age of 6 years old. The youngest one was shy and had a hard time being away from mom. All I had to do was fake a sword fight and draw some pictures together for him to finally come around. He was a lot younger and ended up falling asleep in my arms to a movie that evening. It is definitely a struggle to adapt to new people and being away from mom or dad but I am here to make these situations as easy and comforting as possible!

I have absolutely love working with kids of all ages, I have always grown up watching kids like cousins, family friends, and my nephews I watched them their whole childhood and currently. ( 2 nephews one is 12 years old, the other is turning 4 years old!). When watching children ,Safety is very important to me, and I’m attentive, dependable, and good at handling unexpected situations calmly. I also communicate clearly with parents so you can feel confident your children are in good hands. Cleaning, cooking meals, and homework are all a yes and I will happily do so :)
