I have been working with children from birth to teens in a variety of settings from individuals, to school districts, the YMCA before and after school program, Substitute. Through these rolls I have gained experience of what being an educator means to me and what my community needs. For the last seven of those years I began to narrowed my work and studies to early childhood. In 2019 I earned my Associates in Applied Science in Early Childhood Education. My degree specialized in child development and the brain, and intercultural communication.
I was top of my class and was invited to join Phi Theta Kappa for my outstanding achievements. I am doing what I am meant to do.
I am a provider because I value working with my community. It takes a village to raise a baby, and I have learned through personal experience and academically how to find recourses to support families and their unique needs.
