Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Previously, I started working in childcare at the age of 16. I had my very first babysitting gig and volunteered in Key Club, to help young children build robots(how cool is that!) While in high school, I would work with aftercare children on their homework, projects, and anything else they needed guidance with. Once I graduated high school, I worked as a Assistant Teacher in a daycare. At the time, I was a floater so I transitioned from babies from 3 months old, all the way up to ten years old! With my time being at the daycare, I was promoted into being one of the lead teachers in the infant room!
While I worked at the daycare, I also worked as a Nanny for private families. Since then, I have worked with 3 wonderful families in my career and I would love to work with yours!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
As my time as a Nanny, I enjoy building activities with children! Ranging from creating cool at home science projects, to having a scavenger hunt, and even into baking! One of my finest traits is creativity, and I absolutely enjoy bringing that into a child's life.

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe and loving environment where a child feels supported, understood, and free to be themselves. It's more than just supervising—it's being someone they can count on, someone who shows up with patience, kindness, and genuine care. I also believe it’s just as important to build trust with the parents by keeping open and honest communication, so they feel confident their child is in good hands.

In my experience as working as a Teaching Assistant, I have worked with children with special needs. I treat them with love, care, and respect. I have worked with young students with autism and it has been nothing but rewarding.
