Hello! My name is Rhylee. I have been working with kids my whole life. From volunteer work as a teenager, a teaching assistant for children with an IEP in college, a stay at home mom of 2 children, as well as working with children under 2 at an ECE center, my work with children is broad.

I volunteered in elementary schools as a classroom aide working with children with IEPs, raised 2 children on the autism spectrum as a stay at home mom for 3 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love exploring nature as often as possible and love going on walks. I also love to sing and dance (though I am not very good at it!). I love helping children develop strong language and emotional skills through reading and warm communication. I also love to cook nutritious, wholesome meals for young children learning how to eat food for the first time or that struggle with food aversion.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children on the spectrum and with ADHD (inclusive of my own children). I believe in learning each child's emotional and social needs as well as their ways to cope with their struggles. I like to work with them using their strengths and alongside preexisting coping strategies rather than repressing behavior.
