Activities I enjoy doing with children...
If it’s a rainy cold day some indoor activities I like to do with children is always something that they can learn from. Weather it’s arts and crafts and fine motor activities. If it’s a nice sunny day outside “which is rare” in Washington I like to take advantage of it and go for walks or to the park and do anything so they can get there daily exercise.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most amazing part about being a nanny is watching them grow and learn. Being able to teach them while also having a great time is one of the most awarding parts. I also love the feeling of “getting to be a child again”. Everyday is so different and you never know what to expect. Not only am I being able to help the children and make a difference in their lives but I also love the feeling of being part of the family and helping out in any way shape or form.
My experience with special needs children...
A long time ago when I was in elementary there was an after school program I would go to and help with there school work.
