A little bit about me

I am a 27 year old college student who has spent the past 6 years caring for children of all ages! As the oldest grandchild and sibling in my family, I have always enjoyed caring for others but I found my passion in 2018 when I began working at Children’s Home Society in their special needs shelter. It was there that I decided to pursue a career in caring for children. Through this experience, I have learned various different behavioral health techniques and have only increased my love for working with families across the state of West Virginia! I also have received multiple trainings on CPR and first aid which I put to use when lifeguarding!

However, I am looking for a change of pace and would love to work with you and your family to provide one on one personal care!

I have over 6+ years of working with children in the state of West Virginia as a youth care worker and case manager!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I firmly believe in the importance of play for children! Things such as a playing with toys and characters of their interest to swimming, hiking and various recreational activities. Along with this, I think art like coloring, painting, etc. is also very enlightening.

I am quite energized and love to go, go, go! But as a reader, I also enjoy the moments of joy with allowing children to express their creativity!

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with special needs children, from those with non-verbal autism to those with ADHD, throughout my career.

It was with these children that I found my passion! I found they allowed me to utilize creative thinking and problem solving to help them obtain day to day living skills.
