More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I began my experience working at a daycare inside a gym throughout high school, which strengthened my passion for caring for little ones in a fun and active environment. Afterward, I worked at Banner Gateway Medical Center as a nursing assistant in Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum, where I gained invaluable experience supporting mothers and newborns during such a special time. I then continued my journey at Banner Desert Medical Center, working specifically in the NICU, further deepening my love for caring for infants and supporting families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. I enjoy incorporating daily reading time to support language development and imagination, planning simple arts and crafts to encourage creativity and hands-on learning, and going on walks to get fresh air and explore the world around us. I believe in balancing structured activities with free play while making sure each child feels safe, supported, and excited about their day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was caring for a little girl I had been with since birth. Watching her grow through each stage of life was so special, but one memory stands out the most. When she was five, she started dancing and began preparing for her first recital. She was struggling with a few of the moves, and her mom and I spent hours practicing with her, encouraging her, and helping her build confidence. The night of the recital, she went on stage and danced beautifully — she absolutely nailed it. Seeing her dedication, growth, and pure joy after working so hard was incredibly rewarding. Being able to witness and support something she was so passionate about at such a young age is a moment I’ll always cherish.

I am an AVID Site Coordinator at the high school I work at. I’ve got an administrative degree and can work with children grades PK-12. I really love what I do for a living however, for the past 10 years I’ve been an after school care taker helping with homework and taking the kids to their activities. Now the oldest is driving and I’m on the hunt for a new family that would allow me to be a part of their’s. It’s not just an afternoon job. It’s the desire to help a family and help their children grow. Let me know what I can do to help you and your family.
