Really caring for the kids and learning what their needs, wants, and enjoyments are. I think it is important that kids feel loved and that I am not just there to be paid. I guess just being present with the kiddos.

I was a peer tutor in high school and helped with learning and progressing in their IEP. I helped them with fine motor skills such as writing as well as maintaining good behavior and learning their ways of communication and how they respond to certain situations.

The twins I used to babysit wanted to give me a makeover… safe to say by the end I was pink and my clothes were covered in pink eyeshadow. Also one night their parents went out for New Years Eve and so I got us some sparkling grape juice and fancy glasses we rung in the new year with Hannah Montana and some sparkling grape juice!
