A little bit about me

My name is Riley and I love working with children! I babysat for many years growing up, but where I learned the most was the time I spent working in a daycare. I worked primarily as a twos classroom teacher for the year I was in that setting, but also worked with other ages. I learned how to effectively communicate with children and their families, create and execute curriculum, manage schedules, and more! While at the daycare, I also received additional training and renewed my CPR/first aid. Since leaving the daycare, I have switched over to serving private families for more 1 on 1 care. I could go on and on, but I’m running out of room so here are a few more key details; I am familiar with diaper changes & potty training, food prep & service, and safe sleep practices. I am comfortable with multiple children, pets, and transporting children as needed. I believe in reduced screen time, increased playtime, and explaining things over simple orders.
