Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm personally a big fan of art-based activities, like making slime, painting, doodling, or any super fun messy project like that. Don't fret, I'll clean everything up spotlessly after! I enjoy games like hide-and-seek, imaginative play, and teaching kiddos about life and how to navigate the world while still being true to yourself. Any situation where I can connect to that childlike sense of wonder for the world is a good situation for me!

The most important part about being a nanny...

the most important part in any childcare field is being able to take part in shaping and teaching so many individuals! Watching a child grow up into their own person is the best experience I have ever witnessed and I cannot wait to form bonds with more families!

My experience with special needs children...

As a higher needs person myself, I am confident in my ability to work with special needs children. There is nothing inherently negative to being differently-abled, and although I have not yet experienced the full range of divergence in children, I am very familiar with highly sensitive individuals, sensory processing differences, emotional dysregulation, etc. If you are willing to work with me to craft an "ideal nanny outline" for your specific child's needs, I am more than willing to adapt for the best results!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The last boy I nannied for was the most independent little dude in the world. He only needed me when he wanted to talk about his favorite show (which was American Ninja Warrior, for the record) or talk about his perspectives on life. I'm pretty sure that he's the coolest 11-year old I've ever met. I'm not sure why this is my favorite memory, but it is.
