A little bit about me

Hello my name is Riley, I have always been a hard worker cleaning rentals with my family when I was little to current years. I have worked at Walmart for almost 3 years and was a nanny for a local family who has 3 children who all had fragile X a form of Down syndrome , they were all non verbal teenagers and I cleaned the house, prepped kids lunches , bathed and changed the children. I also took them for car rides , did grocery runs , got them on and off the bus , but I did get out of an almost 6 year relationship so they decided to let me go. I really enjoyed learning and would like to resume that type of job as a part-time job while working at Walmart. I am planning on going back to college once I save up some money in the near future. I graduated Theodore Roosevelt in 2022 and I am willing to learn the responsibilities needed and adapt to each family.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I Nannied for A family who had three teenagers, who all had fragile X a nonverbal form of down syndrome. I helped meal prep, do the laundry and other house cleaning chores as well as ran errands and picked up and dropped the kids off. I also took a little boy to school for about half a year until they no longer needed my services. I have done a cpr and babysitting class when I was 14 or 15 I believe. I also do an app called Rover for a few years now where I pet and house sit, I love it and have a few clients that repeat serviced and some single time partners.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Coloring , walks, zoos or aquariums, I like hiking playing with dolls and making arts and crafts.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Getting to gain new experiences/knowledge and help families, I love helping people and when my dad died I was grateful to have my wonderful grandparents to help support me. It really does take a village and good to ask for help when its needed. I would love to build a bond with the family and help in any way I can. I also love seeing children happy. I love to do fun crafts and or activities. I love to hike i can play indoors or outdoor which id say is a good quality to have in a lot of cases. I also love all animals and do an app called Rover as well.
