Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking kids on walks around the neighborhood or to nearby parks, especially for the high-energy kiddos; they always love it! For the older ones who might be interested in sports, I'm always down to kick a ball around or shoot hoops (even though they usually can kick my butt!). Another fun activity is going to a trampoline park (with parental consent, of course) or Chuck E. Cheese.
As for indoor activities, I am always down to play a good round (or multiple rounds, as it usually turns out) of tag or hide-and-seek, and I also love to encourage drawing/crafts!

The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, one of the most important parts of being a nanny is having patience! Kids will be kids, and sometimes that involves doing things that may frustrate me a little bit, but I am always able to remember that they're still learning! Also, being able to communicate with the parents is super important to me! After all, it's best to work together for the sake and safety of your little one(s)!
My experience with special needs children...
I have lots of experience with special needs children! I worked in a group home in which I helped care for several boys with autism of varying degrees, and the first family I actually nannied for involved caring for an extremely medically complex toddler (cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, amongst other things).
