Hello! My name is River Rose Hoerer. I'm a scientist recently laid off from the University of Utah, where I researched leukemia, ALS, and chronic fatigue. While I’ve worked in science for the past five years, caregiving has always been a part of my life as I helped raise my younger siblings, nannied during college, and cared for my grandmother in her final year. When I moved to Utah to pursue my PhD in Biochemistry, I nannied for a family with an 8-month-old boy, a 4-year-old girl, and a 10-year-old girl.
