"Rosa has been with our family for close to 2 years now and she has by far been the best nanny we have ever worked with by far. My son who is about to turn 5 this August has loved every moment with Rosa. She truly lover her job, she is responsible, always on time, and leads with directness and kindness. She has gone above and beyond learning Occupational Therapy with my son who has sensory.processing issues and even accompanying him at school doing the duties of an IEP at his school . She knows how to talk to kids, laying clear guidelines but in a fun and loving way. She takes my son to all the best activities and playdates and always sends us incredible photos and videos throughout the day. Rumi has had some behavioral and sensory challenges when Rosa started with us, but now we have a thriving, intelligent, sweet, kind boy who has the tools he needs to thrive and we owe a lot of that to Rosa."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have hands-on experience caring for children through both personal and work-related roles. Over the years, I’ve cared for my younger siblings, nieces, nephews, and the children of friends and neighbors—helping with everything from meals, diapers, and nap time to school pickups and after-school activities. In addition, I’ve worked with families who needed reliable childcare support on weekends or during busy workdays. My calm, patient, and loving personality enables me to connect easily with children, and I always strive to create a safe, clean, and positive environment. Whether I’m helping a baby with feeding or entertaining a toddler with games and crafts, I enjoy being a dependable part of a child’s routine.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping children engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities that support learning and creativity. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include visiting parks, indoor playgrounds, and local museums, as well as enjoying outdoor activities like walks, games, and nature play. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, which allow children to express themselves and build fine motor skills in a fun way. Whether we’re exploring something new or doing simple creative play at home, I always aim to make each day enjoyable, safe, and full of positive energy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the children and their family. It’s more than just keeping a routine—it’s about providing a safe, loving, and stable environment where a child can grow, feel confident, and be themselves. I believe in showing up with patience, kindness, and consistency every day. When a child feels supported and cared for, they thrive—and I feel proud knowing I can play a meaningful role in that journey.
My experience with special needs children...
I also have experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with sensory processing challenges. I understand how important it is to create a calm, supportive environment that meets their individual needs. I’ve helped with routines that include sensory-friendly activities and supported occupational therapy (OT) exercises at home as recommended by therapists. I’m patient and observant, and I always take the time to understand each child’s preferences, triggers, and communication style. I believe in using a gentle, consistent approach to help children feel safe, understood, and confident in their daily routines.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of being a nanny is seeing the joy on children’s faces when they’re exploring the world around them. I especially love when we do outdoor activities together—whether it’s playing at the park, going for walks, or visiting fun new places like museums, indoor playgrounds, or seasonal events. Watching them learn, laugh, and get excited about something new always reminds me how special this job is. These moments of discovery and happiness are what make being a nanny so rewarding for me.
