I have worked in preschools/daycare as both teacher and assistant teacher for several years. I held a NYS Teacher Assistant Certification for public schools K-12 as well.
I have worked as a CNA in a 1st grade class. My role was 1:1 for a child who was in a wheelchair. This was an inclusive class and I was there to help him go about his day until bus drop off. It also required changing at least once a day: colostomy bag, diaper as well as food/-feeding assistance.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Love arts and crafts. I try to be outdoors as much as possible too. Parks, petting zoos, trails, beaches etc. I still go down the slides and swing with them at the playgrounds. I do indoor things too like take them bowling, movies, to eat, indoor playgrounds-you'll see me riding the tricycle at the smithhaven mall one. It honestly depends on the child and what they're into. I do try to expose them to different things though.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to be a part of a childs life and hope to instill some good and happy memories with them. To help create a respectful and kind person, someone society would be happy to have with them.
