A little bit about me

Hi! I am Rose McBee. This year I am a sophomore at New Mexico State University studying kinesiology. I have been working with children of all ages for the past 5 years. From volunteering in church children ministries, working as a tutor and assistant in 4th grade classrooms, working at a summer camp as a leader for grades 9-12 and babysitting for friends and family. I plan to become an occupational therapist working with children with special needs. I can cook and clean and help out around as needed. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been volunteering to work with kids for the past seven years. I did an internship as a teachers assistant where I was in multiple classrooms helping and even teaching lessons. I have most recently worked at a summer camp as a leader where I was working with children 9-13 years old. I have worked with children of all ages and different needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing board games, creating games, making crafts, reading books, and telling stories. I enjoy being creative and encouraging kids to use their imagination.

My experience with special needs children...

I volunteer in the special needs classroom at my church and have been for about seven years now. In doing so I have learned a lot in how to manage and care for special needs children and how to provide tools needed for success. I am currently in school to become an occupational therapist and work with kids who have special needs.
