I have loved kids my entire life. I'm married to my best friend, and we didn't have children together. I enjoy working with 4 years old & up. I have 26 nephews & nieces, but they all live in California. I hope to make a difference in a child's life. I have over 20 years' experience working with children of all ages. But I prefer ages 4-10. I have worked at a Preschool for a couple of years, nannied for many years and also worked as a receptionist. Early Childhood Education background, CPR/First Aid Certified, Trust lined, a good driving record and excellent references.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to teach Preschool. I have volunteered as a court appointed special advocate in the S.F. Bay Area. I have also volunteered with City Team helping to feed the homeless. I have over 20 years' experience as a paid professional nanny.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading, trips to the library, kid's playhouse, parks. Play board games, coloring, long walks, hang out and listen. Be a good mentor.

I really miss spending time with Albert in Hillsborough. I started with him when he was 4 years old, he just arrived here from Shanghai and didn't know any English. I would bring a bunch of library books to read to him, tutor him through the years and shared a special bond with him. He's a very sensitive soul and very curious about everything. The family moved back to China. I worked for them for 5.5 years. It was nice to have the opportunity to see him learn and grow through the years. Other children as well, like Rebekah Kirkwood and Thomas Kamei. Being a Nanny is a very special job.
