Hi! My names Rosemary Panella and I’m looking for a part time nannying job. I am 21, about to turn 22, and I can provide cooking, cleaning, and tutoring services. I work on weekends as a barista, but would love to take care of some kiddos during the week. Pay is negotiable depending on needs. While I do have tattoos they are all in easily covetable areas (upper arms and legs) and I have no offensive/graphic tattoos. Some hobbies of mine are art, music, and reading. I’ve worked with kids in multiple areas including church daycares, long term babysitting gigs, and volunteering with ARC summer adventure with kids ages 18 m/o-4 y/o.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to parks and spending time outside, I love painting/arts and crafts, I love science and at home science experiments, and I enjoy music!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having a good set of dad jokes. It seems silly but sometimes when kids need cheering up they just need a funny joke to get the process started. It’s a good skill to have when dealing with kids who are having big emotions that they can’t entirely process and take some stress off of the situation.

My experience with special needs children...

I grew up with a sister who has Williams Syndrome, which includes intellectual disability and some issues with social interactions, so needless to say I have been around special needs for a long time! I have also worked with kids in music therapy conferences held at usm and volunteered with ARC summer adventure for two summers in the youngest group.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I babysit for a family and the kids get excited to see me! I absolutely love being a source and of joy for the kids I’ve worked with because they know that they’re gonna have fun with me around!
