A little bit about me

Hello my name is Roslynn Wailus! I am a senior at the University of Maine at Orono. I live in Orono year-round and love to work. I'm always staying active and love to make a difference in others around me. Cleaning and cooking is a great hobby of mine. Previously in high school I worked with young kids in a daycare and I loved it so much. I previously was CPR certified but that is now expired. Due to that I am highly interested in getting that certification once again to ensure safety of the children in my surroundings.

It is very important that I can comfort the child/children so they can be themselves at all times from being happy or even when there is something wrong with them. Communication with the parents as well as an extra emergency contact for important situations. But simply listening to the child/children and understanding who they are and what they are interested in is so important because that is how you are able to teach them more skills and allow them to express their personalities.
