My experience with special needs children...
I previously worked at a school where 40% of the children were A-typical. I have been lucky enough to be part of their growth and it was so rewarding to watch as they blossomed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite part of working with kids is building relationships with them. I love seeing them get just as excited as me when we see each other. One of my kids at the school I used to work at named Poppy had down syndrome. Every Time I saw sweet Poppy she lit up and ran with her arms open wide towards me. Those are moments I will never forget.
