Hello, my name is Ruby. I was born and raised in Santa Barbara California. I currently work as a paraeducator for special needs children in a school setting and am looking to shift into nannying. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with children in many settings! I used to work in the medical field for a while and I am now a paraeducator for special needs children in a school setting. I also have raised my younger sister and younger cousins and starting baby sitting for work at a young age.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love finding art projects on Pinterest and trying to recreate them! I also enjoy reading stories or having fun baking projects. Since I do consider myself a pretty active person I love to go for walks or to the park and enjoy the fresh air.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me the most important part of being a nanny is being able to make sure their needs are being met and also having a bonus almost family member. I am a firm believer that is takes a village to raise a child and I love being apart of that process.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a ton of experience with special needs children. I currently am a Paraeducator in a school setting for mod/severe children. I have worked with many different students with different diagnosis such as Autism, Down syndrome, non verbal students, etc.
