My experience as a volunteer at Victory Junction in February 2024 was incredibly rewarding. I had the privilege of supporting children with serious medical conditions in a medically safe and exhilarating camp environment in North Carolina. My role involved creating a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where these children could engage in various activities, such as zip-lining, archery, bowling, fishing, and swimming. Witnessing their joy and growth as they participated in these activities was truly inspiring. It taught me the importance of compassion, patience, and adapting activities to meet each child's unique needs. My time as a volunteer at Victory Junction reinforced my passion for working with children and deepened my commitment to providing meaningful and supportive experiences.
