A little bit about me

Hello!

My name is Ryann Dominguez, and I'm from Houston, Texas. As of now, I really enjoy reading, writing, video games, and school. I also plan to rejoin Alvin Community College in August as a part-time student.

I have formed my a new relationship with Christ as of September of 2023 and now I'm exploring new ways to learn about God and share to others my experience and testimony as and Orthodox Christian.

For my future, I plan to major in some short of American Government, along with a minor in American History.

I started working with kids from an early age doing some babysitting around the neighborhood, once I graduated highschool I became an after-school teacher with a company that goes to private schools in the Houston area to teach children how to cook, and after that I was working with a daycare with pre-school aged children and getting them ready for kinder garden.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as an after school teacher with a chef that had a company that went to private schools in Houston and taught children how to cook and make meals this was ages from 5-14.

I also worked at a daycare in my home town of Pearland, Texas with ages of 4-5 and taught them education based lesion plans, and prepared them for Kindergarden.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy hands on activities that involve creativity such as shaving cream, slime making, or coloring. But I also enjoy going to parks or outside, and teaching them about nature.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is being that emotional connection for a child when the parents are at work or away, children really need an emotional support and someone they can trust and go to, and also look up to.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It wasn't a nanny moment, but my favorite moment when working at a daycare is when I taught my students their parents full-names and phone numbers, I had multiple parents reach out to me expressing there thanks. I'm a very firm believer in discussing safety with children, and so teaching them young phone numbers, address', and full names of parents, and also there birthdays and full names, is very important.
