Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I raised a lot of kids growing up in a big family from 7 to 14 I was watching cousins and my siblings on the regular. Then from 15 to 17 I picked up many babysitting jobs for a little bit of extra money. I had one regular family of a 5 year old girl that I watched every day from 8:30 am to 2:00pm I made sure she kept her regular schedule that she already had made with her mom and she was very comfortable with me right from the start. I don't believe that it is my job to discipline anyone's kids gentle reminders of what I asked and the threat of ill call mom never fails. ive always loved kids and had a special place in my heart for special needs children, my baby brother is autistic and I've worked very well with him his whole life I'm his biggest support and I've taught him all of his coping mechanisms. Well now that I've talked your ear off and told you everything you need to know about me I would love to hear from a wonderful family that would love to have me be a part of there team.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking the kids to the park I won't lie I definitely join in the fun in playing with the kids but being a smaller woman it's not hard to play in the kids play area haha. I've brought coloring books to my other babysitting jobs and they loved it.
My experience with special needs children...
My baby brother has autism and I've been his main support system all his life he is 11 years old and and has struggled with school, making friends, tantrums, outbursts that would last for days over something small my parents always wrote it off as he was just a difficult kid but I wanted to look into what could be going on with my baby I got him tested finally with a court order and he was diagnosed with autism I knew the road was gonna be long but I promised that I would always be there through every step. Thanks to some special therapy and working with his teachers I finally got him the help he needs and he's beginning to make friends and thrive in his school work but as far as professional experience I have none
