A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Rylee. I am currently a college student working towards becoming a pediatric music therapist! I am an auntie by love not by blood to four incredible kids who are eight, four, and about to be two. I have always been drawn to working with kids, I believe that they are so extremely special and it brings me so much joy to be a part of their lives.

I have babysat for friends and family since I was 11 years old, and I have lots of experience working with children with special needs. I also have two years of experience as a math instructor for kids aged 4 years old to 17 years old. My mom is a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist so I have grown up around structure, play-based therapy and child-led activities.

I love to sing and dance, watch movies, play games, and so much more. I am CPR and first-aid certified. I'm up for anything, all the time. I will always show up with a smile, I am extremely dedicated and involved, and I will love your kids so much!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I taught math to children aged 4 to 17 for two years! i also have babysat for family and friends since I was 11.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to sing, dance, play board games, and do schoolwork or educational activities. I also love taking kids to the splash pad and park! Morning walks or walks as the sun is going down is one of my favorite things to do for myself as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Becoming a nanny has been a dream of mine for a long time. I care for children so much, I truly believe that I was put on this earth to work with children. I believe that they are the most precious thing and deserve to be treated with the utmost care, respect, and genuine love possible. I also want to become close with my nanny family. Respect goes both ways.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children with autism, some who are completely non-verbal, not potty-trained, and non-communicative. I have also cared for children with down syndrome and cerebral palsy. Special needs children are so close to my heart because my mother is a speech language pathologist. I have spent most of my life around children with disabilities and special needs and caring for them is one of my favorite things.
