Worked at a daycare in my grandma’s church, primarily with toddler and younger, as a summer job! + I have babysat my 3 year old sister multiple times and my 9-11 year old cousins.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts and crafts, reading, tv if the child is permitted and doesn’t feel like being extremely active or social that day, and I can do any backyard sports (no promises I’ll be any good, but I’ll try anything!) If you do have a very artsy, or bookworm of a child, then I could bring over some books and/or other crafts for us to take on together!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is connecting to the child and becoming a safe space and resource to them while their parent/guardian is away. Also being sure to embrace their creativity and skill set by doing certain activities with them, and indulging in their interests!
