I spent last summer nannying a 9 yr old girl and we started collecting insects together. By the end of the summer, she was able to identify multiple orders of insects. We would take walks and she would point out a butterfly and tell me the the order name of a butterfly and so on! It was one of the neatest things, being able to open her eyes to the wonderful things in the environment.
