A little bit about me

I have 7 years of experience of nannying children from newborns to preteens. Looking after children requires a lot of energy and attention to detail but I enjoy it wholeheartedly.

I currently nanny for a family of 3. 8 yrs, 7 yrs and 3 yrs old. I’ve helped them learn through educational games, and just have created a fun environment. We love going to indoor playgrounds, & museums, and parks. At home days we play multiple board games, painting, legos, read books, water play, and many more. I’ve received nothing but positive feedback from both parents. I also help with cleaning and cooking.

I truly have been blessed to enjoy a job where I can interact with kids on a daily basis. Working with children is sometimes challenging, but always fulfilling. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Puzzles, arts and crafts, reading, setting up tea parties and picnics! I’m also athletic & some of my favorite outside activities would include obstacle courses, baseball, bubbles & water games are a must with the heat here!

The most important part about being a nanny...

A nanny needs to love children and be knowledgeable about child development. We are taking the place of parents while caring for children. Education, experience and special skills matter but none of those will make a person who doesn’t truly love working with children a quality caregiver. Enjoying children and feeling honored to be a caregiver to them is the foundation that everything else is built on.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There are so many I wouldn’t be able to pick just one! So my fave moments are Just being able to be apart of the children’s daily lives. Sharing in their excitement and milestones, and knowing that I am playing a huge part in facilitating their exploration of the world and development of their minds!
