I have been a babysitter, and nanny for 9 years. I have also managed a summer camp at my local ice rink caring for 6-28 children between the ages of 4 and 13.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating fun crafts, going on walks, going on hikes, going swimming, playing games, making up games and dances. I like watching movies occasionally and playing just dance. I love volunteering and finding ways to teach kids the importance of kindness, and thoughtfulness by making crafts, or cards for others.

Being a fun resource for families in need, and creating a loving environment whilst parents are away. I think it is equally important to instill values such as kindness into the fun activities we do so our future grows brighter by the day.

One of the kids I babysat wanted to make a craft. I suggested we make bookmarks out of popsicle sticks for classroom central (a teaching organization that brings free resources to teachers). So, we spent all day making these bookmarks to donate, and when her mom came home, we realized we had spent 3 hours listening to Disney music and making tons of these bookmarks. Who knew making bookmarks could be so much fun? But most importantly, she had fun making the bookmarks while learning that it is important to be kind, and thoughtful to others.
