The most important thing about being a nanny is to make sure that the environment that the children are in is safe while I am with them, and that the children feel comforted and comfortable while in my care waiting for the parents to get home.

I have not yet had any experience caring for any special needs children but I am open to the idea and willing to learn from guidance of the parents.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments of being a nanny was the time that I was teaching a two year old boy simple math. When the parents got home he told them the math that he learned and I felt very accomplished with my teaching skills and very proud of the boy who I was caring for.
