I am a Christian & proud Mother of Two; 17 and 19. They are amazing, well adjusted kids. I am also happily married to my best friend!
I started nannying, as a Coordinator with YMCA in college, 1997; moving up to Nanny/ House Manager. Opening my In home daycare; registered with the state of Texas. Peace of Mind Playschool opened in ‘06 & closing my doors in 2017; relocating to Serene Spicewood! All of my clients were repeat & referrals! CPR/first aid life-saving certified, swim instructor, background & fingerprinted TXDCPS & TSA. Extremely reliable and self-sufficient. I’m confident & love what I do; treating each child with love & attention that each deserves. I’ve cared for all ages; from birth-17. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in all of my church's helping out as needed. I also have taught group & private swim lessons, mastering bike riding, water skiing, sign language, dyslexic students & speech therapy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like teaching children about God, Nature, Crafts, Swimming, Singing & just plain having fun! I think kids should learn through play & getting dirty is always welcomed! :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being an extension of the family. Kids need to be heard as well as aware that they are a part of this messy world & unfortunately it doesn't revolve around any of us. Navigating through life with the appropriate skills is vital as well as a sense of self.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with many kids with special needs ranging from ADHD to Hearing impaired. I am confident with all children & treat them as my own.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When kids have the "ahhah" moments. I've had many children who consider themselves a part of my family while running my in-home daycare. Most children I've raised learn to ride bikes, swim, sign, pray & laugh!
