I worked with special needs camps as a youth, I started and ran a children’s party planning business, I was a volunteer coach with first tee Chicago for 3-4yr olds.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading, art, outdoor play, music, dancing, story telling, anything creative! I like following their lead and I’m down for anything. I’m not great at sports, but I’ll definitely play and of course cheer kids on 😂

The most important part about being a nanny...

Letting children be who they are, while gently guiding them to learn essential life skills and boundaries. Listening to the parents and recognizing family needs. Open communication is key. My motto, lead with Love.

My experience with special needs children...

Very limited, but I had some experience working with special needs kids in high school through a program called handicamp. I believe I possess the love and patience required to learn more and step into this care giving role if needed.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Far too many to narrow it down! A moment that stands out however, is when a mom said to me “you allow me to be a better version of myself, because I have peace when I am away. I know you love my children the same way that I would. I couldn’t do this without you”. That touched my heart. That makes my job fulfilling.
