I would also volunteer to take care of my nephew, who is now 2, multiple times while he grew up. He was 3 months premature and I had the chance to watch/care for him even as an infant when he was out of the NICU.

When I worked with the foster kids I took care of, I grew such a great bond with them. Every moment was my favorite. Especially when they were able to reunite with their parents and they all thanked me for taking care of them and loving them. It was hard letting them go but I know they’re thriving now and even happier with their family.
