Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked as both a daycare teacher and as a nanny.
I worked as a nanny for my previous family for four years and in that time I took care of five children. I cooked their meals, changed clothes and diapers, read to them, played with them with their toys, cared and nurtured them. I loved making arts and crafts with them and taking them outside to get some fresh air and sunshine. I worked together with the parents to create a fun and happy environment. I helped out with dishes, baby bottles, laundry, light house keeping and cleaning up the toys with the kids. I came up with fun activities for the children to do and updated the parents as soon as they came home from work.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny to me is the one on one time. Your child will get the attention they need to help them move onto the next stage in life. I also believe that the children need love and care, they are precious and deserve the proper care. I also believe every child is different and will progress in their own time. Children are amazing people and they are so smart and sweet.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a little bit experience with special needs children working in a daycare. I would listen to the parents and specialist and do as they would ask.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I would take the children to the library or museum to learn more about their world.
